UNIVERSITY OF NOTTINGHAM

THE University of Nottingham is a research-focused campus university which has been described as “the nearest thing Britain has to a truly global university” by the Times, with campuses in Malaysia and China as well as the UK. It is the fifth largest university in the UK and a member of the Russell Group, Universitas 21, the Association of Commonwealth Universities and the European University Association.

The University of Nottingham is regarded as one of the best universities in the world and regularly features in the UK’s top 30 Higher Education institutions. The University of Nottingham also performed well in the 2023 QS World Rankings by Subject. The best performing subjects include Pharmacy & Pharmacology (fifth in the world, third in the UK), Nursing (25th in the world, fourth in the UK), Veterinary Science (44th in the world, eighth in the UK), Education and Training (46rd in the world, ninth in the UK) and English Language & Literature (65th in the world, 18th in the UK).

Admission to the University is highly competitive and Nottingham regularly receives one of the largest numbers of applications per undergraduate place in the country. Nearly 30,000 students are currently enrolled, with over 9,000 of whom are international.
